  • Compare and review information literacy skills/competencies among Learning Connections member institutions
  • Finalize the common glossary

ACTIVITIES FOR 2005-2006 SCHOOL YEAR

  • The Library Team met after the Learning Connections Kick-Off luncheon on Sept. 27, 2005.  We are using a Wiki on this library site to gather information to develop power instructional goals.
  • The Library Team compared and reviewed information literacy skills/competencies of both K-12 and higher level learning institutions to determine the first standard of focus.  Current and newly developed lessons, activities, handouts, PowerPoint programs, assessments, weblinks, etc. were provided in a well-organized manner for this standard, and made available from the home page of the Learning Connections website under the menu item "Unwrapping the Information Literacy Standards".
  • Share, organize, and edit a repository of materials for the Information Literarcy Standards page of our website.
